Put your brand on it
Two minutes. Your name, logo and colour replace ours everywhere your client can see.
Set it
- Go to Branding in your agency dashboard.
- Brand name is what clients read. Leave it blank and we use your company name from signup — never ours.
- Logo shows in the sidebar and on reports. A square-ish image works best.
- Colour replaces the default violet on buttons, links and headings.
What carries your brand
- Your clients’ dashboards — name, logo, colour, and the browser tab icon.
- The monthly PDF report.
- The share-link prospect report you send before someone signs.
- Email to your clients, once you have set up your own sending domain.
- The tracking script on your client’s website — it carries no vendor name at all, in the page source or anywhere else.
What does not, and why
The web address. Your clients log in at citedby.co.uk. A neutral shared domain is coming; per-agency domains are not planned.
Google’s permissions screen. If a client ever removes our access to their Google Business Profile, that page shows the name our Google app is registered under, which is ours. We tell them the real name rather than one they would not find.
Email, until you set up your own domain.Until then nothing goes to your clients at all — it comes to you instead. That is deliberate: an email from us landing in your client’s inbox is worse than no email. Set that up next.
