Send email from your own address
This is the step the rest waits on. Until it is done, client email comes to you instead of them.
Why it works this way
Your sending goes through your own email account, on your own domain, with your own reputation. We never send as you from our domain, and we never touch your sending limits. It means one setup job, once, and after it your clients only ever hear from you.
Until it is done: email that would go to a client comes to you instead. Nothing is lost, and your client never receives anything with our name on it.
What you need
- A free Resend account (resend.com).
- A domain you can add DNS records to.
- About ten minutes, plus a wait for DNS.
Do it
- Agency dashboard → Admin → Send email as your agency.
- Accept the sending terms. They are short and they are about not emailing bought lists.
- Paste a Resend API key. Create it in Resend under API Keys — sending permission is enough. We store it encrypted and never show it back to you.
- Type the domain you want to send from. It is registered with Resend automatically — you do not need an account setup step there.
- Add the DNS records we show you at your domain host, exactly as written.
- Tap Check DNS. If it says not yet, that is normal — DNS takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Nothing is broken and you do not need to redo anything.
Once it is verified
- Client email comes from your address, through your account.
- You can email prospect reports rather than only copying a link.
- You can give a client their own login — their invite is the first email your software ever sends them, so it has to come from you.
